hi i just biught a 1987 gt 5speed and it has some (aloot) problems .. like the car wont start(turn over) all the time some times it starts and sometimes it will take a few times trying it has msd 6a box and the guy said it is because the coil is stock and needs msd blaster coil is that true???

and i have 2 other cars so this car im tring to make it a track car for the 1/4 mile it is a loong way from being complete but now im starting with getting rid of the whole interior so does any one have piks of what it should look like?

and so what car did u pick up ? was it off of craigslist, and congrats so are you gonna keep the 302 in there or other plans

I'm not saying you dont need one but personally i have ran mine with a 6al box and a stock coil. I never had that problem. Maybe its a loose connection somewhere?

i got a good deal of some random guy but im gona do my interior first and rip every thing off and get some nice racing seats and roll cage then the engine thats because i dont know alot about foxbodys and i dond know where they sell parts for them.

i was asking for pictures of a naked interior.

the problem with the igniton could be a lose wire i will check but i think it is something else because it is random some times it start right away some times it takes along time.

ooh yeah the msd box is a 6a is there any better ignition boxes?? if i do get a better one do i just match the wires? or do i have to completely change the wiring?

it is a grey one i started the interior striping but ill post pictures tomorow since it is too dark now
