Default header gasket

as i said in an earlier thread i blew my header gasket so i ordered Mr. Gasket brand solid copper gaskets and got some allen head 3/8 16 x 3/4 bolts. anyways it took me a week to find the allen socket with the ball head finally i had to buy a set and cut the one i needed to make it work. needless to say headers gaskets are more trouble than they are worth. the guy who put the paper gaskets in to begin with needs to be burried up to his shoulders and run over with a bush hog. what a douche bag!!!

IMO copper ones suck ***** and do nothing but leak unless you tighten the **** outta them just to get enough crush so they seal which often doesn't happen

I know it's not copper, but I bought one of Mr.Gasket's silver metal gaskets, or what ever they were. All I can say is they were terrible. They leaked like crazy. So I took them back and threw on some good ol' FelPro header Gaskets.

I've never had a problem with the Fel-Pro Performance Gaskets....Not much to changing a header gasket.
