i agree on a functional yet non intrusive cage, a low angled side tube, the standard tube around the half of the car and then 2 tubes from the top of the middle roll to the cargo area, all tucked up against the sides as much as possible, not sure if you get it but it works in my head :P

tuning would be fun but I would seriously consider doing something like above mentioned showroom cobra, there's on in MN with like 5000 on it and it looks amazing.
Maybe get yourself a saleen or something so the suspension is pretty good to start with.
otherwise for that kind of money I would go semi sleeper look, lots of motor maybe a custom set-up like the modern driveline transplant, I really like that idea.
give it a tune up, drive it, and buy a motorcycle?

Those are good ideas... I never really considered trying to snag a Cobra or Saleen. I will look around for both and see what I come up with. I mainly enjoy building stuff - and I think changing too much on the Cobra or Saleen would in turn reduce its value. Thoughts?

he has a budget of $25,000, not $2,500. i would say to buy a terminator but you dont want to go F/I. buy a built motor is the only option. just depends on how streetable you want to be.
