What size pushrods to use with afr 165 heads, f303 camshaft, and 1.6 roller rockers,
Will the stock size work, i want to use the hardened pushrods from Ford Racing but what size?

you'll need to determine length upon set up with an adjustable length checker= proper way push rods are usually the last thing to order for the build and are seperate from rest of build purchase

measure once and do it right and you will be rewarded with better geometry and peace of mind.

I just got stock length pushrods when I built my engine. I bought stud mount heads so that the rockers could be adjusted. Now this may not be the perfect right way to do it but it worked good for me. The geometry may not be perfect neither. IF I ever bult another engine, I would measure.

^^^ah yeah that is not the correct way upu could still pop the inake and v. covers and measure and get the correct ones as you could be leaving some hp on the table.

and with the incorrect pushrods you will put a lot of stress on parts and they WILL fail quicker and sooner than u would with having the right setup all those nice parts and you didnt measure.....bad bad bad......
