I want a cam for performance purposes but i want it to sound good to, and im not looking to put heads or new lifters just yet so I need something that will work well with stock heads and lifters, but looking to put 75 to 100 shot of NOS on it.

a cam swap requires spring change and on stock heads a cam won't show much of a gain if any......best to just spray it and do a cam when you can afford heads

Yeah, Doing a cam swap without heads and intake would bu pretty useless! It would be a lot of work for nothing!

Do you feel cool now after saying that retard? Of course it's not just for sound. I didn't even choose the camshaft. I told my engine builder i wanted a stout little 306 for this car which is going to be my daily driver. This is the cam he chose. I still won't get home from Iraq for a few months and i'm just curious what the car will sound like when i crank it the first time.
