uber mild 347
I recently broke my crankshaft/block on my stock 265,000 mile bottom end, while having ported e7's with lots of porting and valve job/bigger valves, ecam and gt40 intake + bolt ons on top. I am having a forged 347 stroker kit put into a magnafluxed 302 block and should be driving it within a week and a half. Im curious as to some estimates of numbers, I know the heads are a$$ but I cant afford to change them right now. Any estimates are appreciated...

Yeah, I want to get atleast 300whp out of it I figure the 347 will bring out the best of my parts for what they are. But I know the torque is going to be crazy, Ive got 3.73's on it already I may need some bigger rubber ;]

I will definitely be sure to update on how it runs, I cant wait. I saw a group of like 6 sti's and 2 evos in a row the other day I wanted my stang back sooo bad =[. I probably wont have the cash for the dyno quite yet.. Im waiting a while down the road to put a blower/turbo setup on it, ill get it done then. for now I need some suspension and bigger rubber, 255 sumitomos aint gonna cut it =$

i know what you mean, i cant drive mine right now either and its killing me! im trying to get the funds together to finish it out, and have it dyno tuned. and yeah some fat rubber is going to be a necessity lol.

utter waste to put a forged crank in a stock block...the block will let go long before forged crank does and then you'll be out an a$$load more money....cast steel is the best way to go when using a stock block as the crank will still outlast the block and with your 302 parts top end you plan to reinstall..expect maybe 25-40 rwho more than what you had

i agree save the money your going to spend on the forged crank and then sell your stock p & polished heads and take that money and what u saved on the crank and buy atleast a set of gt40's or wait a little longer if the car is not your daily driver and pick up a set of used aluminums in the 600-800 range and you will be a lot happier and will make way more power than your stock setup and also wont have to break the motor down to reinstall better heads later...

problem is, the car IS my everyday driver. Ive been out of a car now for coming up on 3.5 weeks.. Im a college student and I work part time so spending an extra $800 right now for better parts and saving for more isn't really an option (although I want a whole new h/c/i but I live in cali). Im using my dads truck while he rides his yzf600 to work and what not, its basically giving it as big of a push start as I can, while HAVING to get it back together with what I have (save the top end) and in my car asap.
