Default Question for C-4 gurus

I'm asking this question for a friend of mine.
Is it important to have kickdown linkage hooked up for increased line pressure and tranny life if you don't have a manual valve body?

The kick down linkage on a C4 is just for that, kick down. If it's not hooked up, it won't burn up the unit like the TV cable will on an AOD. Line pressure is controlled by the vacuum modulator.
