Default trans decision

so my aod needs a rebuild but im not sure what to do...
i can either rebuild the aod and get a custom stall and manual valve body OR buy a C4 kit from art carr OR put in a t-5. what do u guys think i should do?
my car has gt 40 heads, e cam, typhoon intake w/ all bolt ons, 4:10s, and suspension.
its not a dd

5 speeds are always fun but autos are more consistent. If its not a DD then skip out the aod option and either go c4 or t5.

would i be alrite with a stock t5? the world class t5 is $1400 and they have ones on ebay for like $700. Are these any good? american powertrain makes a t5 to handle around 400hp i think. also what is all needed to go from AOD to t-5?

do a c4.by the time you do the aod to t5 conversion and go thru clutches.you could get a manual v.b with trans brake c4 and have just as much fun and hold more power
