Default What Size Alt?

I have a 92 5.0, basically all stock, but have 25% alum. underdrive pulleys. The sound system is basically stock, just an upgraded head unit. The only other thing i plan on doing is an electric fan, and an hid conversion kit. What size alt should i be ok with? I was looking at the 130/140 amp alts, like the
Powermaster 8-47140. would this be ok? Not trying to break the bank, but i need something soon since mine is bad.

130 works well, ive got it and i have a sound system. So it will leave room for future upgrades if you ever plan to.

Yea, unless you plan on running a major sound system, super hi powered electric fan, and everything else electrically demanding, you'll be set for sure!

the one im looking at is on summit racing, and it should be. if not, most of the upgraded ones just need minor modifications to the bracket. Im not sure exactly what would be needed to be done, but its talked about a lot. I think part of the bracket is just shaved down. but on the site it says nothing about needing any modifications. it says its made for the 85-93.

Yea thats why I asked thats the one I was looking at on summit also I was unsure also because I know the 130 from the 94/95 5.0's require the bracket to be shaved and some modifications to some wiring.

PLEASE be sure to upgrade your wiring when upgrading your alternator. I've heard many horror stories about the stock wiring giving up under load...including personal experience.
