What are the benefits of an aftermarket crank?

FYI, the block will go before the crank does, so unless your stroking it there really isnt much need for a aftermarket crank unless your looking to save weight.

If you have an issue with your current crank just have it turned, a good machine shop can reshape the oil gallys, knife edge if its forged ect.
