Idle Problem Need Help!!!!
OK i still have an idle problem every now and then.... The car will bounce in rpm then rev real low and die.... It will sometimes do it when i push in the clutch and let it idle.... I dont believe it is my IAC, MAF wires, or anything like that.... I just put an e303, GT40 intake, 70mm TB/EGR.... I already had a PRO-M 75mm Billet MAF, Equal length shorties (BBK), O/R X-pipe, and a flowmaster catback... As far as engine mods go..... I didnt touch the fuel pump or the regulator (they are still stock).... I believe that the pump/regulator are my problem because 91hatchgt had the same problem when he just added the trickflow and 70mm TB/EGR with his stock fuelpump/regulator.... It just seems to me that im getting a great amount of air but not enough fuel....
What do you guys think???? IT seems logical to me.... What else could be the problem???
It only idles weird and dies some of the time, mostly after being on the throttle continuously (like a sustained 2200 rpm) and then pushing in the clutch....
Can someone please lead me in some kind of direction or let me know if im already in the right one....
Thanks in advance....

RE: Idle Problem Need Help!!!!
those maf take into account other add ons not like a C/L
have you tried cleaning the electroics on the maf..like the wire sometimes when using a K/N filter the oil will get on the wire and cause this
also you need another fuel pump those sorry stock units just can't keep up..a 190 lph would be the right one

RE: Idle Problem Need Help!!!!
Well i went through a thorough cleaning of the MAF, IAC, and the intake tubes (they are the stock tubes and hand that white build up on them)... I also got the tps to 98v instead of 93v... This all seemed to help so far but i will see when i keep driving it later on tonight... like i said it does it speratically... The idle did bounce a little when i took it for a test drive, but when it bounced it only bounced within a hundred rpms of idle.... The car seemed to save itself before it got to low... Now i think the only problem is the fuel pump so i will have to wait till tomarrow to get it since it is memorial day and the local speed shop is closed.... Thanks for the help vfast...

RE: Idle Problem Need Help!!!!
I had to increase my idle to around 900rpm and adjust the dashpot decay rate when I started fiddling with my car. the idle would bounce +/- 500 or more RPM and die whenever I took it out of gear. I adjusted those two things and it took care of it.
