Ok so i have a 91 LX with a 5.0 conversion. When i turn on my headlamps my wipers go inop and my horn and defrost dont work. What the heck could this be. I was thinking of a short to ground but i dont think that all those things share a common ground. Please help me , Im clueless on this one.Not to mention i cant find a wiring schematic to save my life.

The headlights and horn both use a body ground..And the defrost is vacuum controlled.Do you mean the blower motor stops working?

When i turn on my headlights it takes out the gages and i have no dash lights as well as no wipers and horn as well as no defrost. I hope im not in too deep with this car. 91 LX 5.0 Conversion

The rear defrost stops working and the horn stops as well, the horn works fine without the headlamps being on . The headlamps work fine , just the guages go crazy and no dash lights and no wipers as well. Wipers work fine when headlamps are off , but they move a little slow and the speed adjust doesnt work . Just has one speed ( Super Slow ) . Should i run new grounds to all of these or what ?
