My car is a 1994 gt it made 272 rwhp I cant exactly remember the tourqe but i know it wasnt any higher then 280. So far my I have a 302 with 1000 miles stock rotating assembly, Trick flow twisted wedge heads, Holley Systemax II intake manifold, Afm N41 Cam, Comp cam pro magnum 1.6 rockers,Underdrive pulleys, 70mm throttle body, 24lb injectors, power pipe, velocity maf sensor, Mac Long Tubes 1 3/4 3 inch collectors way To Big, 2 1/2 h pipe, mac catback, 3.73s

If any one has any input on what i can do to help reach 300 rwhp its appreciated
I do not want to add any power adder, or change the bottom end yet

is it an auto , has it been on a dyno to check a/f ratio , whats the timing at? tuned?

i would think that , that combo would make 300 rwhp with a stick no problem.

Sadly, many combos using the TrickFlow heads never make it to the 300rwhp mark. However, I've seen them make some good torque numbers.(I made 271rwhp & 311rwtq through an AODE using the TW heads). Also, what kind of dyno did you use? A Mustang dyno usually reads quite a bit lower than other dynos. You have basically maxesd out your car when it comes to mods, other than FI or building a stroker motor, which you do not want to do. Porting the heads a bit should get you close the the 300 number. However, like MJR(Mod) would say, take it to the track and see how it runs. 300 is just a number. How it performs on the street is what really matters.

there is hidden power in the drive train... aluminum Driveshaft could free up another 5-7 to the wheels... and a Lightweight flywheel would do teh same with another 7 or so rwhp...

What was the tempurature you dyno'd at and whats your elevation?

But as most said... numbers don't mean much, its how it runs

A aluminum flywheel will free up some hp but you want a steel flywheel to help the car come off the line for drag racing. Aluminum flywheels are good for road racing or circle track.

well the car was on a dynojet, on somewhere around high 80 F. the car was only tuned by changing timing and fuel pressure. Also i know have a 6al but im not shure if that adds anything
