X or H Pipe with Flowmasters

X or H Pipe with Flowmasters
Hi, Just wondering whether an H or X pipe will sound better with my flowmasters. I know it has a lot to do with opinion but just wanted to see what others have to say. I've heard many say that an h pipe sounds better with flows even though the x pipe will produce a little more power. Either of these would be offroad pipes mind you, so just want some opinions. Thanks

also an x pipe is louder, and makes at max 3hp over an h-pipe, the h-pipe has a deeper more mellow tone. like you said your self it is more of opinion.

Thanks, Right now I think I'm leaning toward the h, but I still have a little time before I make the purchase, so I could change my mind. I like the real deep tone instead of the raspy tone so thats why I think the h is what I'll buy.

Haven't really heard too much about the prochamber, so I wasn;t sure if I liked it. Wished I could hear one to see what it sounds like compared to the others, but dont know anyone who has that pipe. Decisions...Decisions

i dunno about the different combos with flows on the ends. I do have offroad H with 40 series flows on my 95 5.0, but on my 87 5.0 i've just got shorty headers going to offroad X, that's kinda where my exhaust stops... hehe, got my first warning ticket last night at 2:30am actually!! i was proud i was 2 miles outta town before that cop caught me, i guess he just wanted it more. oh, and if you want sound then i say go with H all the way. :P
