Default auto to clutch pedals switchs

how do you bypass or plug in the clutch pedal switch when converting from auto to manual?

you either wire the prndl switch wires into it or leave it alone, I just looped the two for the started circuit on the PRNDL switch together on mine and the other two wires get wired to the back up light switch on the t-5

on the side of your auto tranny/ aod is a switch that has a 4 pin connector on it...un plug it, two of those 4 wires are for the starter enable.....2 are for the back up lights, I don't have a diagram in front of me right now but find one and the two for the starter enable can be connected together and the other two connected to the 2 pin switch for the back up lights on the t-5 tranny

what happens if you leave it alone ..the ecm is manual so wont it want to have the switch engaged before it will start?

the starter circuit is independent of the ecm.....it does not run through nor is it controlled by the ecm......all you need to do is either run the two wires from the prndl switch up to the clutch switch or just loop them together, looping them together will allow car to start/crank in gear, just gotta remember to push the pedal in before cranking

what about if you have the correct t-5 harness? I will be doing the auto to manual swap. also can i install my 5sp pedal assy even with the auto in there right now?
