Default sn95 spindle question...

been tossing around the idea of piecing together a 5 lug swap....

I know 94-95 5.0 or v6 spindles are ideal, but if I were to swap out to those spindles, can I still use the front shocks designed for the fox? or do I need to grab 94-04 front shocks

and can I still use the fox control arms?

what is wrong with 96-98 spindles?

just throwin the idea around... last time I was at the pull a part, they had a few bashed in sn95 sixxers...

you can use fox shocks and a-arms

96+ have a wider width you can use them by wheel selection is a little different

The sixers is the same as the gt's so don't worry about that part but like prime said the 96+ had a slightly wider track width so your wheels would bulge out slightly. I don't like that look but some do. As in another post some people with lowered SN's used fox struts because they are slightly shorter. And don't forget that you will have to use a couple of hardened washers on the balljoint when putting it all together because the sn's have a longer balljoint.

I just changed the ball joints. As long as your car is 87 or newer you can use your strut. The track width difference of the 96+ spindle is a whopping 8mm! I used em and they make the fronts fit perfectly flush.

I've been to Harry's many times hunting Mustang parts...For the conversion I would use spindles from a 94/95 v6 or GT (same)...

also been to AtoZ and Pick & Pull junk yards in Pa.

I just completed this using the SN95 spindles and just used my FOX 70/30's on the front. Waiting for wheels to show so I can get it on the ground.
