Default Positive Crankcase Problem!!!!

I hope I can get alittle help with this problem. I have a 93 5.0 with a stock 302 with Heads and Cam the bottom end is stock and has about 60k on it. Whenever the car is at wide open throttle I notice oil was coming out of my breather filter on my valve cover. I installed a crank case ventilation system and I notice now the air and oil pushes the PVC Valve out of the back of the intake. I've asked around and some people tell me 2 just put a breather filter in place of the PCV Valve. Has anyone had problems like this or does anyone know of a solution? P.S I know I probably have blowby at the pistons but I have insufficient funds to rebuild the motor right now.

Wow i think i just figured out my own problem, I'm guessing that screen works kind of like a baffle which when i put my car together wasn't really thinking about it and i just never put it back on the new intake...well hopefully problem solved...thanks for the advice.

The screen is there just to block oil from getting sucked back into the intake- it just baffles the oil a bit.

If you were to install it, the crankcase pressure would still be there.

Yea i'm not sure...I wanna keep the PCV in because I still drive it on the street. It only has positive pressure when at WOT. I just didn't know if anyone knew of some way to decrease the pressure.

Do not use a PCV with a breather, the breather only acts as a large vaccum leak as far as the PCV is concerned. Use either the breather or the PCV, not both. The PCV system is better suited for ventialation in a stock to medium hp engine due to a possitve vacuum pulling from the engine.

Problem is, it just doesn't look cool enough for some people so they throw a breather on to make their car look faster.

So if I just decided to use a breather on the valve cover, would i just plug the PCV hole in the back of the intake?

Nope..... attach an extension hose to the PCV valve and a small cone filter wherever you decide to extend the hose to.
