Default GT40P heads... have EGR?

Hey,
I have a 98 Explorer engine, running a 96 upper intake (Or at least it has a 96 style EGR Valve with the EGR position sensor instead of a DPFE). I am unsure about the lower intake. I am getting EGR codes, but I am wondering; do the GT40P heads have the EGR passages? I know that the late 97+ explorers used the external EGR tube, but I am unsure if the heads changed when the EGR went from internal to external.

Yes... they also have the EGR passages for the intake.
