Well one reason might be is the gas, have you changed where your getting your gas from?

no i always get gas at chevron and i get the plus grade every time,i heard from a lot of guys not to go with cheap gas because it will give you less mpg than good gas.

Well first off typically an intake will help mileage.
Another reason could be that you changed your driving style as a result of the new sound and power....

ya true. Driving more aggressive will sharply decrease your mpg. Esp cold air should be giving you better mpg. I always stick with either shell or bp because of the high ethanol that they have in their gas. This will def give you more mpg and make your engine run better.

LOL: a 10% ethanol mix in your fuel will not change your MPG significantly. If anything it will just have different exhaust products.

Check your install: Make sure your hose clamps are tight, your sensors are plugged in, your filter is on tight.

Check your driving: Your foot is the number one thing that will contribute to poor gas mileage.

 x 2

ethanol has a way lower BTU then gasoline(meaning drastically less MPG), corrosive to regular engines, and is a net-loss product

anyway back On Topic, shouldnt a CAI actually decrease MPG? colder air is denser therefore has more oxygen, more oxygen will need more fuel to keep the correct A/F mixture, thus more fuel is injected into the engine...

I'll pretend I didn't hear that, the opposite is true you burn more fuel.

I think you have your foot in the gas a little harder, did you pull the codes?
