Default Throttle body

I got a question. I have a stock air intake on my 93 mustang Lx. I am wondering what throttle body and what size would be the best.

a 65mm would be good for mild upgrades after that you might want a 70mm, but putting a bigger tb on a stock intake won't do anything. There are plenty of other upgrades you can do for the same cost as TB that will give you better gains.

+1^^

also note if you upgrade your TB you need a matching EGR spacer and make sure you intake manifold is capable of supporting the size of TB you'll be putting on.

personally I'd buy an intake and match the TB to the intake opening

Well heres the problem, i have a 300 dollar budget at the moment. Since i am buying my pully's. So the TB was my next choice of modifying, unless you have another choice next, got headers, cold air, distributor.

A full O/R exhaust system and gears are the best bang for the buck on an uncracked 5.0 motor. Gears are cheap just save a lilttle more for the install, it's something you'll feel SOTP instantly...

Ya forgot to mention my flowmaster exhaust which is o/r. And the other problem is its auto, hopefully in a year ill drop it for a t5 or keep moding the engine till the trans goes. So now i am stuck on what to get next.

This is where I'm at right now, what I've pretty much gotten out of all my looking and listening is to either do a gear swap or save your money up for a h/c/i swap.

You're about right. The mods in my sig quantify a full bolt-on 5.0 give or take. Opening up the motor is where you go from there...

cant get power for nothing...get some money and try again.

$100 for summit headers (regular length not silly short headers). Best power gain for the buck probably. Next best thing, $:P that is, go get a different cam.
