Default 87-89 vs. 90-93 Foxes...

Hey everyone, I had a discussion about this with a bunch of my friends and they argue that the 90-93 models of foxes are better than the 87-89 models. I dont know much about it, just that the 90-93 models have airbags and 87-89 models have tilt on streering wheel, so I couldnt really say anything, what do you guys think? Whats the difference between the two models? What years are better? What years have the better engine?

They are all badass. Foxes never stay stock so what the hell does it matter?

I would rather have a 87-89. forged pistons.

87-92 had forged pistons. 89-93 had mass air. so if you wanted a tilt wheel with an engine that had forged pistons and would accept mods an 89 is best. starting in 1990 the doors got sidepockets, the tilt wheel was no more and an airbag was standard. i believe the t-5 in 90 and up models was also a bit stronger than in previous years. it all depends on what you want.

what years did they put that little light map up top in the front between the driver and passanger that comes down. Looks likea little flashlight. i have one in my 88 and everytime someone gets in my car they ask what the f*ck is that and i have to show them lol. Just wondering what years they put them in .
