valvetrain geometry, thin valve cover rail, pushrod pinch area, 110% junk valvetrain if bought for 800 dollars assembled, they are 220 dollars per piece bare for dealers, so between as good valve job, good valves, springs, locks, retainers, seal, guideplates, rocker studs. What do you think you are getting for 800?

I'd look into AFR'S or trick flows.

You may see a 50 hp gain at peak hp with a set but they flow like crap down low. The flow numbers are very erratic from port to port and the flow sucks at low lift and I've already seen two of them with the valve seats burried in them. They are better suited to a budget drag car.

for $800 youd be better off with X303 heads or "GT40X" they are called.

or just save a bit longer for trickflow/afr's

Default ProComps v Floo Tek

I have the Floo Tek brand, and I keep hearing them referred to as ProComp heads. I have seen so many postings, I don't know who to believe. I bought them from MoneyMaker who builds engines and races. He has a good rep. He swore by them for entry level and better than GT40 heads. Told me they were casted in Australia. Now his site links to TCHS, which is the name on the box, I got my heads from. Here is a pic in the bag. BTW the valve cover rails do not look thin to me. Have not installed them or unbagged them. They look decent and were totally finished including valves and springs and multi angle valve job. Check out MoneyMaker's website. He will answer all questions and emails himself.
