Are you sure the flexplate is causing the vibration? The trans is a 82. You need a flexplate that has the right amount of ring gear (157 or 164), and that has the right converter bolt pattern, and the right counterweight for your engine. Summit should have one.

What you need to do is measure the distance of torque converter bolts in a diagonal, Like you would measure the lug nut pattern. If its 11.5 inches you need the 164 tooth flexplate, if its 10.5 inches you need a 157 tooth. And it needs to be a 50 oz also which is gonna give you a problem. At the time they stopped using the c4 they also making the change to 50oz balance.
Here ya go,157 tooth

rev up's in neutral and driving down road. when i started to work on the car 1rst thing went for was the drive shaft to take the bolts out and wow was i suprised . i could got some vibration out of it . cuz i mean i did manage to take all 4 bolts out with jus my fingers . but that still wouldnt of caused to vibrate at a idle. i bout said hell with it and thought bout stickin another aod in the car but the kick down cable isnt there in the car any more and idk if the aod is elctronic and not sure if all plugs are under the car still . the c4 in the car isnt bad jus not much of a high way car cuz gas milage .lol

It could be a harmonic balancer, flexplate, busted piston, or a tranny mount or a motor mount causing the vibration.

well im gonna try flexplate since already got tranny out now . but if that done fix it im gonna try hermonic ballancer . i wouldnt think would be a piston cuz the car never has a loss of power .
