Default BBK Headers question

I know I'm going with BBK Headers, question is either shorty or equal length. I have a Flowmaster 2 Chamber cat back, with BBK O/R H-pipe. I don't really want to have to buy another shorty H pipe to fit the LT Headers. So the question I have is... with my current exhaust setup, shorty or equal? Thanks!!

unequals FTW!

equal lengths are kind of a pain to deal with and the gain is nominal. i'd pass em up for unequals anyday.

Is that unequal shorty? What size do I need with my O/R H-pipe?

Are those both unequal? And will they fit up to my O/R H-pipe size wise?

yea, that H pipe is designed for shorty headers, so any "shorty" type header will work.

go with unequal, the extra hassle of installment, and lack of plug and wire clearence isnt worth the minimal gain. Go with BBK, i know a friend that received the summit brand and immediatelly exchanged for BBK. We compared the summit to my BBKs before mine were put on, and you can tell theres better craftsmanship in the BBK fram a distance. I can remeber if the Summitt came with a replacement air injection tube or not, wither way the stocker will get knarled up from removal, and BBK comes with a replacement. I went with chrome, ceramic is better to be honest, call me crazy but i actually like the look of a blued pipe. whatever you do dont wrap the headers, Im pretty sure BBK waranty will not cover, plus they have a tendency to lock in moisture causing the metal to rot and rust.
