um, i'll disagree with you on a portion of your response.

ceramic is the way to go i run summit shorties and they are great quality. summit LT's however....pass....

I had equal lengths before I installed my LT's whats all hassle you guys are talking about? equal and unequal are both just as easy to install....

how much do they lower temps?!

Not to jack the thread, which is better unequal or equal, hp gain wise... And if so, i'd assume its a very minimal amount compared to shorty to long tube.

you will gain a tiny bit more with equal length, but longtubes are a much better gain overall

I'd totally get long tubes, except for i still have to pass smog, and cali sucks when it comes to smog..

So by the sounds of it, most everyone thinks I should get the long tubes and just cut my h-pipe so they will fit?
