Default headlight wiring upgrade

i've read that upgrading the headlight wiring on my 86 gt would make the stock style headlights brighter. i've just installed a 3g 150 amp alt, and want to get the most out of it. i'm not interested in bulb upgrade. any input?

get some sylvania silverstars, do the relays, then once you get tired of those install the Hella kit with e-codes

I like to run around with my brights on alot. Not everybody gets annoyed by it. That and I like the look of all the headlights on at night.
