well if the tires are properly inflated and wheels are tight, check for any loose suspension parts by jacking up the front end and place your hands one at 12 o clock and the other at 6 o clock and try to move the tire in and out, if no play place hands at 3 o clock and 9 o clock and try to move tire in and out, repeat on other side of car, if you found no play thats good, if you did then you have a bad balljoint or tie rod end. replace any worn parts and get the front end aligned, if you have excessive positive or negative toe it can cause the car to drive very erratic. hope this helps.

12 and 6 there loose. is toe the same as camered? changed outer front tie rod but didnt have time too do other side and inner front driver side moves too. I ran out of time at the base auto shop/
thanks for any help? whould it be the steering box if one inner tie rod seems tight and the other seems loose?

just got done changing inner tie rod in driveway. it seemed to take away the 3 to 9 movement that I had o drivers front. wheel bearings seem good now I think I just need a bunch of bushings and some wedge in the back. does anyone use wedges on there stang?
