OK so heres the deal, I NEED HELP!!!!! ok heres the story my 1988 GT 5.0 was running great and a few times it has cutout while driving only for a sec. Then the other day I was stopped to let some kids cross the crosswalk and when I started to accelerate letting the clutch out my car went into about full throtlle causing it to rev to about 7,000rpm spinning my tires so I pushed in the clutch let it simmer down which only took a couple seconds and then let out the clutch slow when it did it again and the I went to second gear let out the clutch and it was fine. Does anyone have any clue what could cause such erratic acceleration!? if so please let me know ASAP keeping my car may count on this...=[[

are you saying on it's own the car reved to 7k without you touching the throttle???? if it has cruise control it may have a malfunction with it??

Well around 188,000 miles on the car but runs really strong and has been taken care of at LEAST moderately well how ever I dont know the last tune up. I have pulled codes and it threw numbers;
29-insufficient input from vehicle speed sensor
34-egr valve circuit out of self-test range
44-air injection control system failure
94-Secondary Air Injection Inoperative

It does have cruise any suggestions??
