Default AOD HELP PLEASE!

REPLACE MY BUDDY HEADER GASKETS AND REPAIRED HIS O2 GROUND HARNESS DUE TO A OPEN IN HIS GROUND WIRE. CURRENTLY HAVE NO FAULTS BUT HIS AOD WONT SHIFT INTO 4TH GEAR WHAT COULD THIS BE.FLUID IS CORRECT AND DON'T SEEM TO BE DIRTY.IT WILL SHIFT OK 1-3 IN DRIVE. BUT IN DRIVE(OVERDRIVE) IT WOULD GO 1-2, 2-3 BUT REV AFTER THAT. NEED HELP ASAP.

common prob when they get some miles on them, OD goes out..time for a rebuild

I would start lookin for another aod and rebuild it, befor that one go's out!

found out the problem his tv cable(trans cable) was disconnected due to not having a groument. after we installed the groument the trans started to do the samething think that we need to readjust.

NOPE ITS BURT UP and this is why you should use a metal bushing, or red bushing that don't break.


Remove the tranny and have it rebuilt $450-600 Parts and Labor OUT OF THE CAR.

id replace the AOD with a T5, i bought a Cobra T5 rated for 370hp from Promotion powertrain for $750

total cost with 99% new parts for my swap is right around $2,000.
