Default new rear end

hey guys im a mustang newbie, just picked up a 1990 5.0 GT 5spd a few months ago

I just put on a BBK cold air intake and bumped the timing up to 40 degrees and now I am about to trade my stock rear end for a POSI rear end with 4.10 gears..

What kind of drivability should I expect with the new gears compared to my stock ones, will I have worse traction than I do now? will I actually start using 5th gear under 55 mph?!

I have no idea what I should do, should I get it and degrade to 3.73 gears or stay with the 4.10? I am getting about 18 mpg right now babying it what should I get around town with the 410 gears? also, will I need slicks to be able to put it on the track?

stock I ran a 15.1 and with the intake and timing I am running a 14.8 flat, what should I be expecting?

ok ok..so I have a positraction, that will spin BOTH TIRES at the same time, but all I need is this 50 dollar clutch pak to do it? so i dont need to swap out the whole rear end, just do the clutch pack and the gears? what year did they start putting in posi in the rear end?

alright apparently I need to do the clutch pak and the gears instead of buying this new rear end..as to the paintball question, I only shoot smartparts guns and evil paint. I play professionally in division 2 x ball nationally.
