act sensor
I had an explorer intake installed on my car. The guy who did the work didn't bother to tap the lower and put the act sensor in. I really don't want to have to take it all apart. I read in another post that you can put the sensor in the intake tube between the maf and throttle body. Can you do this with the stock rubber tube or do you need an aftermarket metal one? Anyone done this ?

This may be a little more info than you're looking for, but it should answer your question...
