Ok I'm sure you've been asked this a million times but here it goes. I have a 90 GT and I want to know how much hp my car will be able to hold. It has an AOD (unfortunatley) And is stock now besides ram air. I plan on gettin an aluminum driveshaft when i get new gears. But how much can the stock 302 hold??
PS 3.55's or 3.73s??

 

i know that u should get 410s with that auto

 

I had my heart set on 3.73's I'm just starting to think about it more and nobody can agree on what ones to get.

 

4.10 r best for a auto

 

I'm not tryin to make a killer car though I just want it to try and get to 300 hpish and I was under the impression 4.10s were for more aggressive cars

 

for a Driver you plan on driving alot Id go with the 3.73s The possibilities are endless on what you can do with your motor to make power all that limits you is your Credit card.

 

Well I will be able to afford the mods i want but a new block or trans is out of reach so how much hp before it gets dangerous???

 

around 500hp and with a auto i would go with 4.10s but if it was a 5spd i would have gone 3.73 but since u have an auto i would go with 4.10s

 

4.10s are nice got em on my 5 spd and i daily drive it not to bad on gas

 

what mods do you want to do and how much dough you willing to spend
