I thought you didnt have to get it tuned if you did an h/c/i as long as the cam wasnt to durastic of a change

It all depends, but from the way it sounds with his A/F he needs a chip bad. Plus he will not be dissapointed with a chip,makes everything run so smooth.

yeah thats correct. also the MAF question: I thikn they wil be able to work with it when they dyno tune it but if not, you can buy a MAF that is calibrated for your size of injector.

hmm ok i looked into a new maf system and mise well put a cold air intake on at the same time, what kinda chip do you reccomend

its not tuning man, im running a 347 with no chip or anything.. do you have an adjustable FPR? add some fuel to it. did you degree the cam in right? stab the dizzy right?

I understand what your saying about possible not needing a chip, but what were trying to say is it will run so much better with a chip....I would have never believed it either but I was amazed. Heck if my car ran good without the chip I pry would have never thought about it when I was EFI, but it didnt run that good so I went ahead and did it, and the results were amazing...by the way CRT did it....great speed shop.
