with warm weather on its way here soon I'm getting my orders in and topping off my parts list I'm going to run a 6.1'' touch wide screen head unit from pioneer with the CD-BTB200 bluetooth adapter. i plan to run my factory heat controls at the very bottom of the dash and the screen under the vents. im also thinking about frenching an ipod dock into the center console when i shave the ashtray. in addition I'm saying goodbye to all my jl component speakers and loading it down with lots and lots of tweeters

i just noticed, we have the same forum name. lol. i was thinking about going for just a new deck, with new speakers all around. not going to do subwoofers or anything, dont want the added weight. got any recommendations for good speakers? i was thinking kenwood, alpine, infinity (have them in my 3000gt), kicker? not too sure yet.

personally anything thats not a headunit ill stick with three brands Memphis Diamond and Boston. im going to have have subs back in it again but thats a very large chunk to break off, thats why im going to use nothing but tweeters so my bass is fromthe subs only and you dont just hear the poundin you have the tweeters makin your ears ring

if eclipse is what it use to be id say take up their stuff, or if you can get your hands on their 03-04 titanium series equip. some of the best stuff ive ever used. i have infinities stuff these days. i run some 05 infinity kappa 3 ways and hate them. before that i had some '03 type R 5x7 3way(external tweet) and 6x9 two way. those are the best speakers ive ever heard. i havent been big into audio in years but i know stuff has progressed a lot since i was into it so i bet there is way better equip out now.

side note, im using the year things were produced because i dont have model numbers. lol. what help am i?
