Default Another 5.0 engine...

Hey everyone, Just got a used 5.0 engine with about 70,000 miles on it, it was practicly a steal. A friend of mine sold it to me for 200 bucks with the engine stand. Well heres my question, What should I do, Should I just ad bolts ons and drop it in my car? Should I take it to a shop and bored it over? How much would it cost to bore over the block? I kinda want to Bore it over because I just put bolt ons on the motor I have now, it was already cleaned up when I bought it so I have no clue how much it was.
I guess the question im asking is what would you guys do if you had a 5.0 sitting in your garage? What mods would you put into it?

Btw it came off a 88 GT.

Yep, I would get all the upgrades that you want besides what you already have, put them on, then transfer over what you already have, and throw on a Vortech or something and drop it in... Like a whole new car.

So does anyone know what they charge at a machine shop to bore it over?

I'd begin disassembing it and check out the engine internally, see what kind of condition it is in. BTW I have a 302 that is sitting in the barn waiting for an engine stand.

What should I look for, Piston Damage? Cracks? What should I look for when I take it apart? Im so exicited to get started, this will be my first engine rebuild.
