Question rearend question

i have an '86 notch with a 3.8L and i'm gonna swap a 5.0L soon. Now my question is i know a guy who's selling a stock rearend out of a '92 v8 gt. Would this rearend bolt into my notch? Thanks!

it will bolt up just fine and I would buy it and use it as a spare in case that 7.5 ever breaks

Bolts right in! ...I'd put the 8.8" right in and scrap the 7.5" rear! Also, you're going to need a 302 Fox Body K member for the swap!
