I am puttin a 99 Explorer GT-40P motor in my 94 Mustang. I know that the motor is not set up for smog so my question is will this throw a code on the computer not having the smog pump on the motor? Also it will run in the car without it right?

air injection is not a monitored system on obd 1 vehicles, so it shouldn't turn the cel on

I should have an EGR without a smog pump on the Explorer motor that I am putting in my 94.

What headers are you planning on using? You do know that the stock '94 Stang headers won't work, right?

Yes I know that. I am trying to decide due to my financial situation whether to get GT-40P headers or keep the stock manifolds from the P's
