when putting in poly mount a lil more torque gets to the wheel.. less engine movement means more torque is sent thru the drivetrain....I use a wire and hook on my s/c to limit engine movement

 

less engine movement = better HP transfer

 

My engine has a crazy amount of vibration above 4500 rpms. It's to the point where I almost thought something was wrong. Its to the point where I almost don't like to drive the car above 4500rpms ever. I dont know if it's worth a little extra hp and torque. I definately want the car to be comfortable as it can cuz I don't really plan on being at the track often. I just drive it maybe once or twice a week and have fun with it. So, I guess in my case, comfort would be better and I should just go stock rubber.

the poly with last alot longer and there isn't much diffference

 

unless you live in some funky weather....heat,and cold will make them split/crack.....although i use solids
on mine. my car doesn't get vibration happy like some people are saying...???

lol..yeah i do the L/T's,and dumps make's it even more fun.....no ,but really it's not that bad.....it does put my kids to sleep though.

 

you may have motor issues if you got vibrations above 4500 rpms

 

I just recently put in a new engine and it has the same vibration as my old one. It sucks.
