Default **dented shock**

So somehow today when I was working on the stang I ended up denting one of my competition engineering shocks. So does that mean that the dent renders the thing useless....it's not huge but u'd notice it lol...good thing there relativly cheap

I disagree. The shock probably doesn't need to be replaced. It depends on how deep the dent is. Most likely it only dented the outer skin and not the inner "cylinder". The outside is just a nitrogen chamber. If you really want to be sure, take it off and compress it all the way, then let it extend (or pull it out) to full extension and if it binds up anywhere then you need a new one(s).
