haha, a new set of what? Valves? Rockers? You dont replace rockers because they are out of adjustment, YOU SET LASH!

This is an idea, but might help you narrow it down, put an ear plug in one ear, then take a long screwdriver and put the handle part up to your ear as tight as u can, using the metal Philips or straight end on the other end put it up to the engine in your car where you think you hear the ticking come from, where ever u hear the ticking the loudest thru the screwdriver thats the area where its happening. Just an idea and a trick i have always used to narrow down where weird noises are coming from to give me a better idea. Just an idea.
