When I was shopping for a race trailer years ago I was faced with the same thing. I'm a Big boy and getting in and out of the car could be tough. I found a trailer that was 8 feet wide on the inside and the trailer had fenders so no fender wells on the inside. I would pull the car up as close to the right as possible and I could enter and exit my Chevelles with no problem. I kept the traliers tool boxes and air compressors, spare slicks and such loaded a little to the left to keep the weight right. Now my trailer was 36 feet long but I'm sure someone makes a 24 that will work the same. Right now I have an open car trailer(18' Road Clipper) with a flat deck with removeable center. I can't open the door and get in the car while on the trailer but it has a nice downslope 30% deck and an electric winch. I just pull out the ramps, unkook the straps and let it roll off with the winch. It loads the same way. Very easy and simple. Not near as nice as my 36' enclosed but I don't need a F-350 to pull it either.

I have an 18' beaver tail open trailer now and I was thinking if i got an enclosed one i could use it for winter storage itll free up a bay in my garage.. Thanks for your intup i appreciate the help. If the trailer im looking at has wheel wells inside is that where the doors open? if so that would suck..
