i bought a 1" spacer for my cobra intake and i got the bolt from a local hardware store. as fas as them snapping i highly doubt it. i mean it would have to be a pretty rough condition to snap one of these mothers. lol. anyway, you should have 6 of them, 2 of them will be the long ones and the other 4 are short. besides the gasket i dont think there is anything else you'll need. just make sure there an inch longer are you'll be fine. should make your car run alittle bit smoother. on my car it felt more torqy but they same it increases horspower not torque so who knows, lol.

that suggested part looks like there are multiple gaskets. not sure where they're suppose to go but it only looks like i need the 2 that i got. working with the lil daylight that i had today, my 4 rusted a$$ screws that were holding my cover on the intake gave me a heck of a time. 1 just really stripped bad, had to use a dremmel to cut a new flathead screw slot into it. i see the 6 bolts, but one of them concerns me. the passenger rear smaller bolt in the corner isnt like the other 5. looks like a bolt sticking up through the intake with a nut holding the intake down. is that normal???

looks like its a stud thats there, stock??? idk. and idea on how deep those bolts go in. i see i am going to probably have to get a longer stud. maybe done this way cuz it was stripped once before or there is not enough clearance. also, is there a proper tightening pattern that needs to be followed?

I believe the back driver side bolt has the nut on the top. I forget what normally attaches to it.

stock, the 4 corner bolts are 5/16 x 1 5/8 and the 2 middle bolts are 5/16 x 6. inch longer on those would have worked. unfortunately, i was unable to find a grade 5 5/16 bolt that was 7". so my dum *** used a steel bolt. should have worked, except the torque wrench that i borrowed from autozone, i think was kinda broken, which broke the bold off in the lower intake. well that just turned into a complete nightmare cuz that bolt did not wanna come out. ended up having to tap the hole to a 3/8" and use a 3/8 bolt. widening the upper intake to 3/8's. its only catching about 3-5 threads in the lower. anyone think this is going to break? i skipped putting the spacer on at this time. all 5 other bolts are just fine and torqued properly.

Well he snapped one, just as I predicted. You need to be super careful when using steel bolts, as well as making sure you use some assembly lube on them so they torque accurately.
