Default sn95 and later brake questions

Should be picking up a 1997 cobra rear for my fox next week (yes i know its a little wider but hey, i'll live) Its got 3.73's and he says it has a t/a cover (whats this), one of the axles is bent so i'll have to get it replaced or replace it myself.
Also thinking about picking up the front spindles to do the cobra brakes both front and rear, is there any reason not to get those front spindles, i've heard some people say that the 94-95 brakes are better but not sure how accurate that is.

Also, should i just run a 97 Master cylinder or maybe a 93 cobra...suggestions welcome.

pleeeease...lol

just want to make sure these will work. I've heard about clearance and bump steer issues when changing the front spindles.

I have a friend that has a 90 hatch and he has the cobra rear end and Cobra spindles with 13 inch brakes. he runs 99 17X8 Cobra wheels and it's close but OK. You can buy a bumpsteer kit pretty cheap and the T/A cover is just a strong aluminum rear end cover that puts a load on the bearing caps in the differential. It beefs it up a little but the 8.8 is pretty strong already.

i was considering doing 17*8's in the front and 17*9's in the rear.

Do you think i'll need the bump steer kit, i'm not lowering my car until i do the max grip pack from MM (but even then i will hardly lower it)

I have the Sn95 axles in the rear. The Cobras are the same width of tat year. The 96+ spindles give you more steering angle and is what I run as well. I am running 17x8 03 Cobras in the front and 17x9 03 Cobras in the rear. The rear fender lips do need to be rolled in a bit as the tires rub a tiny bit. The fronts are golden.
