Want to put new bushings onthe vertical tube ( called "run & brkt" in Chiltons ) . I removed the 2 screws as told but I can't get that sucker out for love or money ! The book says to squeeze it out between inner door & glass-yea-good luck with that ! The brkt at the top seems too wide to get thru that opening. HELP ! & Thanks.

 

not really getting what ur say is it the rod that goes in the long yellow peice?
