Default Throttle Cable Differences

I am using a 86-93 Professional Products 75mm Mustang throttle body in non native Ford engine. I am looking for the appropriate throttle cable, I tried the 2.3L 4 cylinder cable but it is too short to reach the throttle body on my vehicle. Is the V8 GT cable longer, if so by appropriately how much?

And are there any alternatives then the Ford dealership for buying it - since it is priced at $80. Any aftermarket compatible cables?

And for what its worth, does anyone sell throttle cable reels for this year TB that would convert it to the later generation ones (94+)

Go into detail about what you have and what it's mounted in. You could buy a Lokar and adapt that thing to just about anything

I am using the throttle body in a Honda chassis, I looked across Lokar's site just now and couldn't find anything that resembled the throttle cable, did I overlook it?
