I have a b cam in my 94 GT, and I like it!! I also have alot of bolt ons and edelbrock heads=far from stock. Really comes alive around 3800 rpm. The lopey idle is nice. The alphebet cams work well with modded cars, but not so good with stock engines. The factory cams are a very good grind.

if you like minimal performance gains and sound, they are the cams for you.....hey even I have a letter cam in one of my rides...lol

 

i had an f-cam in my car it ran pretty good for what it was but i went an had a custom grind made! my buddys currently got an e cam in his car an likes it

 

custom or bust.

 

have you used anything else besides the E cam? Also thats horrible if it doesnt come alive till 3800. i have had a much rowdy cam then an E cam and it came alive sooner than that.

 

i have a B cam, same deal, comes alive around 3k rpms. i dont like the letter cams. rode in a friends car with similar mods to mine and a comp xtreme energy cam. xe274, that thing is a monster! there are many many better choices over the letter cams.

they have been around for quite some time. they are out dated IMO.
