Motor Upgrade?

Motor Upgrade?
I want to keep my motor as a 302 and am kind of on a budget. I was looking at this short block,

but am not sure on what all I would have to add to make it a full motor. I would add some aluminum GT-40 heads but don't know what else would be needed. I could just swap most of my parts that are on my current motor correct, and then just upgrade them as I go? Or would I need to buy a bunch of other things?
Plus if anyone has any better ideas for about for about $2,200 that would be great. Thanks
