Default Bolt ons?

What bolt ons should i use to get a decent amount of power out of my 83 mustang 5.0? I have a edlebrock performer intake and a holley 600 carb long tube headers exhaust dumps after mufflers and an electric fan and taylor made wires 8mm. What else can i bolt on the motor easier parts i can do all of it but cheaper the better.

heads, cam and finish the hci, some sticky tires, you can drop weight, bypass the smog pump. with all that you should have decent power depending on heads and cam you choose

The heads you have are really holding you back.

Your heads are JUNK. If you are on a tight budget, go get some 87-95 E7 heads and rockers. You can get them for practically free. It will give you another 25-30 horsepower. You should also get a better cam. Also, you might want to get some gears to get your car rolling out of the gate.

I have GT-40P heads but didnt realize i had to buy the different headers. I plan on doing 3.73's and a t-5 pretty soon.

any long tube header should work with your heads.
