speedo guadge conversion
my friend who owns a nissan 300zx keeps getting on me about my lame speedometer. he likes to give me a hard time that it only goes up to 85, which in my view ford was stupid to put a guadge that only goes up to 85 in a car that can surpass easily. so i'm thinking of converting over to a 140mph guadge or higher, but i'm curious as to how hard it actually is to change it. what all do you have to do besides switching the guadge? do you need to resest it so it won't say your doing 120 on the new one when you're doing like 60 on the standard guadge?

you need to find a gauge /cluster out of a late 89, and law required ford to do such I believe back then, besides their line of thinking/government is that why do you need to see what speed you are doing past 85 when in most places max speed limit is 55 to 65 mph except where on routes east and west you may see 75mph.

ok so i know i can get a different guadge cluster, would i need to do any adjusting then, or be lucky enough to just hook it up and good to go? dumb government and company trying to limit people from going fast in fast cars
