Default 95 GT heater core

95 gt heater core went out I bypassed it, Anyone got any tricks to changing one of these? Is it as difficult as it looks in my haynes manual?

Probably more difficult. I believe you have to the the whole dash out. I had it priced to do and they said it'd cost at least 400 dollars for labor.

Yea thats pretty much what my book is saying, pull the whole dash. Lucky I'm in Florida and it can wait a while.

I will try to find the write up that I used, when I did it I did have to remove the dash but not all the way. I tilted it out of the way to allow access to the box that holds the heater core, and removed it that way. It took me around 7 hours to do. It isn't a fun job

one key to pulling your dash, because I just pulled mine and im dumb so I didnt do this, somehow mark where each and every screw came from. like a label maker or sumtin. it will remove one hell of a headache when you put it back together.

it took me about 2 1/2 hrs. to do mine but I'm sure it'll be a little more difficult on an

how is the write up for an 82. going to help him on a 95???

I am with you mastmic I need to replace mine as well but I am in south florida so it is not a must here the A/C blows cold thats the important factor LOL.

I f I remember correctly the write up was for his body style but the trick they used works on any of the fox body years. I am still trying to find it though. lol
